This is likely caused by Stripe webhooks not getting through to your website. You can verify this is the case by looking at the system logs.

Check the following:

• that webhooks are set up correctly in Stripe
• that the webhook secret key(s) are correctly installed in the plugin settings
• that your website permalinks are not set to 'Plain'
