On this page you will find a range of plugins that complement and extend your membership-based site. Some are stand-alone and others require Meta Membership to function.
Meta Membership core handles everything most organisations need to run their membership year. Extensions are optional — they add specialised capability for organisations that want it.
Most are free. Some are premium, which is simply how the project stays sustainable: a fair, optional way to support a free core and fund continued development and support.
Meta Membership - Mailing List

Keep your MailPoet mailing lists in step with your membership automatically. Meta Membership – Mailing List syncs membership type and status to MailPoet lists, so current members, lapsed members, and specific membership types land on the right lists without manual upkeep.

Minimal Stripe Wrapper
Free
Stand-alone
Lightweight and secure Stripe gateway using Stripe Checkout for non-recurring payments.
- Includes a one-time donation form
- Has rate-limiting option to mitigate against card-testing
- Integrates seamlessly with Meta Membership
- Can be extended for POLi payments gateway (NZ market only). Other gateways to follow

Run workshops and events on top of your membership. Handles registration, capacity, approval workflows, per-cohort suitability declarations, and registrant notifications — with member and non-member pricing tied to membership status.

Meta Dispatch

Stand Alone
Simplifies your organisation event handling by publishing posts directly from your ICS calendar feed. The post uses the contents of the ICS event.
- Works with Google calendar, Outlook etc.
- Posts can be published immediately, or scheduled.
- Works as stand-alone ICS -> Post engine.
- Can be coupled with MailPoet’s post-trigger to send a campaign to a target audience.
- When coupled with Meta Membership & Meta Mailing List (free) can also target MailPoet audience to your membership type/status.

Meta Declaration

Collect declarations and waivers at membership renewal. Useful where renewal needs an annual acknowledgement — codes of conduct, eligibility confirmations, or liability waivers — captured and recorded against the member.
